So, I fall asleep with one thing on my mind.  I only have two viable choices for president of this country (let the mud-slinging begin).

 

I am awakend by my cat (as is often the case) perched on my chest, staring into my eyes.  "Just so that you know you are not limited to two choices & voices, I did the footwork for you:

Print the list out, hang it on your wall; and throw a dart.  Voila!  You have your candidate.  Unless of course, they were trying to compete as a Democrat or Republican.  But that still leaves a lot of choices.

So I ask my cat, "If you had an opposible thumb, and were a registered voter, who would you vote for?" 

"Fred Rodgers" [Mr Rodger's Neiborhood].

"Bear [my cat's name], Fred Rodgers is deceased", I felt obligated to point this out.

"But not as bad as Lincoln, my first choice".

After the obligatory scratch on the chin (and behind the ears), I fell back to sleep, no more enlightened that when the animal woke me up.
